Students’ attire should be comfortable and in good taste. Clothing advertising beverages and tobacco products, containing inappropriate language and/or messages, and threatening or disturbing graphics will not be worn. Clothing and shoes should also provide for the safety of the child. Pajama pants and sophie shorts are not acceptable. Hair color should be of natural color choice as not to cause a distraction. Shirts covering leggings and girls shorts should be longer than fingertips when arms are down by your side. All students must adhere to the dress code guidelines that have been established in the Autauga County Student/Parent Code of Conduct Handbook. Students who do not adhere to the dress code will phone home for appropriate attire. Repeated offenses will result in disciplinary action.

The school office telephone is a business telephone, which is in constant use, and can be used by the students for emergencies only. Students will not be allowed to call home for homework, projects, or field trip money left at home.

Students are not allowed in teachers’ lounges, workrooms, storage areas, garbage dumpsters or building maintenance areas at any time.

The sale or distribution of any goods or material on any school property by an individual or group of individuals is prohibited unless prior approval has been obtained from the principal. The sale of materials will be limited to school organizations. Sale dates will appear on the monthly calendar.
